Worst. Writeup. Ever.

They came out nice though. I would have waited longer between the primer and paint stages though.

And no clearcoat?

GOOOD! it wasnt a write up. haha. just pictures to show my progress . yah they came out nice, and i was trying to avoid doing a clear cloat because i had red so many stories about the clear ruining it. and i had bad experience with clear when i was painting my motorcycle fairings. i used that glossy engine enamel for the gloss. ill get some more pics up. let me grab camera.

Haha, I know, I was just messing with you. Mostly because it was *Pic* "look at this" *pic* "now look at this" .

I suggested the clear for some protection, not for gloss . As long as you let the clear sit and dry, it comes out great. But there lies a problem, because unless you're in the perfect atmosphere for clear, it will take days to dry. So if these are your only wheels...you're SOL, lol.

I'm gonna repaint my stockers later in the summer, I'll prob use the same paint you did since it's nice and shiny.

Also, nice job with the index cards, never would have thought of that. I would have just sprayed all over the tires, lol.

YAYYY carbon approves. nebster didnt but yah thanks i like the paint. i just took a few shots that really dont do any justice to the gloss but w.e better then the ones on page one. and about the clear coat, it wouldnt have been a good time to do it. the weather was like 50 and rainy. also you mentioned earlier waiting longer between the primer and the paint. i waited like an hour. well 45 min to 1 hour. but i figured it was easy to do so i was going to take this and use as a learning process and i can always do them again.

Of course Nebster won't approve, you didn't spend over $15,000 on wheels.

Now that I think about it, I think I only waited about an hour between primer and paint when I did my strut bar. Then I let the paint dry for a day, then let the clear dry for about 4 days. It's a long process, and it's a PITA if you don't have patience .

Who cares if you have nebster's approval? I sure don't.

Anyway, good job on them. Looks good so far.
