2011 Scion tC Window Tinting..
Hello,
I am trying to tint my 2011 Scion tC windows. I've been having terrible luck and can not seem to get it as it is my first time tinting. My biggest problem is that there is two seals on the door panels. (The main one and another about a inch down).
I figure I need to tuck it in both or else it will pull up whenever I roll down the windows. I can not find a good way to do this without ruining the film or leaving a ton of contaminants behind.
Can someone let me know any tips to do it.
Thank You.

Just pay a Pro, save yourself the headache, few hundred bucks and warrantied and get Ceramic.
I think it cost me like 300-400 per car. My Scions been on there since day 1, no fading peeling nothing in 8 years.

I figured out that as long as you have it tucked in the first seam you are most likely good. It just took me like 100 ft of film to figure it out but I eventually got it. Its not as good as a professional but I'm happy considering it cost me a lot less and I learned a new skill.
True. I do all my audio work so I feel you. But tinting is something you should really have in a nice controlled environment, if something goes wrong you can pressure them to fix it. Vs steaming pulling off and possibly having happen again.
tinting is a tedious job in subpar conditions. Mistakes still happen with dust etc in controlled conditions
