Question CHEAP 14 tC2 Fogs

CHEAP 14 tC2 Fogs-515mgaj69al._sl1500_.jpg

Amazon.com: Fog Lights / Lamps Kit OEM Replacement for Scion TC 2014 (FL-TY107): Automotive Amazon.com: Fog Lights / Lamps Kit OEM Replacement for Scion TC 2014 (FL-TY107): Automotive

I just ordered these last night and was wondering if anyone has installed them or heard anything from this brand. I've been searching religiously for aftermarket parts for the current tC.

You get what you pay for..I dont expect the quality to be as good as OEM, but as advertised it looks like all the components are there:

Bezel
Lamps
Wiring
Switch
Relay
H11 Bulbs

I bought a kit very similar to this on Ebay for my 2012 tC. And after 3 months they're working just fine. Everything was included. They're wired to run independently from headlights. The switch even fits into the dash blank perfectly. Not OEM quality, but they don't cost $300.

I wrapped the hood...the lip is actually an abs plastic one I found on eBay that fits an FR-S.

I had to mod the lip, by cutting the fins on the side off cause the TC's front bumper is a little bit bigger then the fr-s.

I also made two black mesh grills on the side of the front badge

Haven't had much luck in the aftermarket department for much TC2.5 parts.

Current gen, I think...word of advice: I'd try to stay away from urethane lips..it maybe a challenge working with that material, so shoot for abs plastic if you can...abs won't get warped during shipping

Unfortunately, Ya get what cha pay for...the lamps arent the best quality, but the bezels are on point and i couldnt find dealer that would sell just the bezels.

Heres a few pics of my lip, i had some people ask..Keep in mind, its still a work in progress cause i still need to clean up the sides

Dam that lip being a few inches short of reaching the wheel well kind of kills the look. Damnit. Thought my prayers were answered lol.

The Fogs look great.

Like the HOOD said too bad the lip doesn't reach the wheel wells but still it looks good.

Thanks..I'm working on installing led halos in the headlights, got one down & one to go.

BTW, this has gotta be the hardest mod yet.

Iunno if I'm just not getting it hot enough or if the seal has super jizz as the adhesive, but it took hours trying to pry it apart.

The end result looks good, till you look under the hood and see a mangled headlight.

Yes, but not so much that it makes much difference.
