The ones off eBay are pretty good i used a strip for a bike i was building and it held up really nice. I'm going to try and find a pic of it and put it up here.

Couldn't find a pic of it but i do still have a youtube video of it. The very first 5-10 seconds shows the led strip under the fender. Its in red but shows about how bright they would be. The strip also feels durable, the + and - wiring on it is pretty small though.

No. I can't find anything on the forums...

And I broke down and just bought some strips from Oznium. Surface mount with a white background, so I'll just mount them on their side. Hopefully they'll be brighter. If I get them before I go out of town, I'll post pictures. Otherwise, it's gonna be another week before I get them installed.

Here you go man.

They are Alpena brand found at Pep Boys for $25. The pictures don't really do them justice... Not only do the strips glow, but they illuminate the headlight "glass" as well because of how I mounted them. They glow pretty bright and you can actually see each individual LED even from a distance. Obviously not so much during the day.

So my LEDs came in today! Hurray!!! Unfortunately there is both a positive and negative.

Pros: Much brighter than the Walmart brand ones I bought earlier. (Though they really should be for more than twice the price)

Cons: I bought them with the white background, thinking they would blend in with the headlamp better. Not so much... When the LEDs are off, they look like I have masking tape on my headlight. Not cool.

I can still use the lights, but I'll have to use them someplace else. Ordered the same thing with the black background. I'll post up fully installed pics once the new lights come in.

Take those strips, get some that are shorter... say 4 per side, and line the non-ridged part of the fog light spacers!

...or not.

^ Haha! Just one cuz I didn't really install it. Just wired it up directly to the battery for the picture. Pulled it back off cuz the white looked so weird.

I did have a couple more to celebrate my success though. ;)

Haha, but no sharpie for my car!

And, no Justin, I'm not going to sell the strips. I'm going to use them inside the car as accent lighting.
