see, I never bought into the euro light craze in the late 90's early 2000's. Always looked tacky.....but these make the back look way meaner. Just judging off Hope's pic, the quality makes them look more refined and aggressive on par with a bmw or audi type vibe. Definitely in for more pics, night/day and smoked ones and chrome.

Did you install the 2 black box with the red and black wires? Looks like a resistor or ballast type/thing.

Well I installed one of them and yes it does look really nice, but just not bright enough and the light bar does not light up like on the picture. It's like just the corners that lights up. I have day time pics and quick video. I'll post later.

On the plus side it looks really good!! I'll either return it or sell here to someone who's interested in it.

Here's some day time pics.
Light bar does not all light up like the picture on K2 motors' website.
1st pic is just lights on. Top LED on.
2nd pic is brake on. Both LEDs on.

Quick video with lights on and turn signal on.

These are the glossy black housing with dark smoke lens.

This is with the brake pressed.

Sorry for the iPhone photos. It's raining today but I'll do daytime pictures today and try to get a video with the turn signals and all.

I couldn't really say much for brightness in the day. I haven't been able to see them really. As for night I'd say it's pretty bright as you can tell from the picture. The guy in the picture was initiating my brakes and when he did even he said something about the brightness.

As for overall quality they are pretty good which I think was predetermined once we found out it was Spec D. I can't really say there's too much I dislike about them. The brakes and turn signals are red LED's. As chicagokid stated they do not light up like the in the picture. From the first picture you can tell it's the part going around for the running lights and then with the brake pressed one of the LED bars light up. The turn signals are the other LED bar.

still not sold on em...definate step in the right direction. it seems like they were making it, had a great idea behind it, were on thier way to a cool product and cut some corners with the LED strips and the corners only being lit up. But this is clearly IMO. Night pics much better than day... thanks for the video post!

I did get the smoked lens. I think that made it dim. If the lens are red, maybe it would brighter. Or just the clear lens. Maybe??

I wonder if spec d is going to make the for the 2012. That way I wouldn't need to cut a hole for the backup light.

They look great but are a bit dim. I wonder if it is the tinted lens. KJ, I think the top part is for the reverse lights?
