Default Fog Light HID Question

I have the HID Headlight kit from customtc (link below)
http://customtc.com/2011hid.htm
One of the bulbs crapped out on me, but I still have two working ballasts.
I plan on replacing the HID headlight kit with the CCFL Halo kit.
Could I use the ballasts from the HID kit to power HID Fogs?
If so, would I need any other parts besides bulbs?

Thanks for any help anyone can provide!

you should be able to because conections should be the same. check out ddmtuning.com they'll sell individual parts as well as full kits and individual bulbs

I don't think a ccfl halo kit will be bright enough to replace stock headlights / HID kits.
Ccfl's are more of a cosmetic mod.

If you do look into ddmtuning.com, I suggest you buy a whole kit because the individual parts + shipping cost almost as much as a full kit.

So I'd need to replace the bulb for my HID kit and run the Halo kit on top of that?

That means it would make the most sense to just buy the full halo kit, full fog light HID kit, and a new bulb for my headlight HID kit. Ugh, this is gonna be expensive.

Are you working on a tc2? And which halo kit are you looking into?

I have the halo kit from xtec and it is bright but not enough to use as regular night lights (stock or hid).

So to answer your question, yes. Or find hid bulbs that someone is selling on the forum classifieds for cheap

It is a '11 TC2 and I would be running the CCFL Halo Kit from xTec. Would they run simultaneously? Could the HID lights run while the Halo kit runs or would they be independent of each via switch or something?

Im running ccfls from xtec on my 2012 tc also. You can hook them up however you want. I have my ccfls come on whenever i switch on my parking lights. Most people installed them to turn on whenever the engine is on.

Yes they should run simultaneously. I have my ccfl turn on when i switch my parking lights on. And when i turn it up to the headlight notch, parking lights, halos and hids all are on.

I was looking into the Xtec as well. I would run mine on a 3-way switch so they would mimic my dome lights or have them on whenever I wanted to...like my underglow and upper/lower grill illumination
