Fog Light Installation Question
So I bought fog lights from TRDSparks.com, the cheaper set, not Toyota brand. I used the instructions from the Toyota/Scion Fog Light Guide. I installed the kit and it works great ... just had some questions:
Instructions say to remove 4 Electrical Connectors... I only had three, plus the antenna cable and a grey cable below the two electrical ones on the left (see picture) The one missing was the furthest to the right.
Was curious what that was for?

Also, when installing the relay, the instructions say there are three ports and install the relay in the middle port. There wasn't a third relay or port to install one in...
LOL What's that about? What is it for?

4 connectors:
- 10pin... This is the biggest one and the main one that is needed to power the radio
- 6pin... This is for speakers
- 20pin... This is for steering wheel controls
- Grey cable - USB/AUX
- Antenna cable
Nothing else. Install diagrams for new vehicles are not perfect... Maybe this wording was fixed in a newer revision.
Not sure about the relay as I don't have fog lights yet...

Oh yea I see it now...
From left to right:
Rear speakers connector
Main connector
Useless - See below
Steering wheel connector
The one in question is what I call a placeholder connector. It isn't for Bluetooth because that deck doesn't support Bluetooth.
I was worried myself when I changed my deck. That connector isn't used at all for anything. The wiring sticky thread in the ICE & Interior section doesn't show that connector either.
It also isn't for BluLogic Bluetooth either because I have that and everything still works fine with my new deck.
Maybe it's for ASL? Or maybe just Toyota having 4 connectors to keep all their decks consistent across all models with a double-din removable deck?
Toyota is just screwing with us that's what I think... Lol
