Hey guys I had a question about fog lights. I was thinking about getting fog lights and putting yellow HID's in them. If I get the OEM fog light kit is it easy to change out the light bulbs like it is for the headlight conversion to HID? This is assuming I already have the dealer install the fog light kit.

 

Should be h11 bulbs and yes standard hid kit with h11 bulbs should work. There is a forum post about this in aero and exterior, check it out.

 

It won't be even remotely close to as easy as the headlights are. You are almost definitely going to have to remove your front bumper to gain access to the housing. It is possible to turn or remove your wheel and peel back the plastic in the wheel well to get to it, however I have tried this and it can be quite a pain.

 

Just take the skirting under the bumper off, full access from under there. Easy.

 

Don't even have to remove it, just undo the two 10mm screws and a clip and pull it down. I installed and removed my HID's from the fog lights in 10 minutes.
