Default HID Question

Hi, i know another HID thread :l

But i've notice the other threads are quite old now. What do you guys recommend to get i have a 2006 scion tc ( Not projector)

People say that certain bulbs will cause glare and blind other drivers, what do you recommend? thanks!

Shouldn't be using HIDs in non-projector housings unless the housing is designed for them.

I used the hid kit 9006k in my 07 tc Non projector and everyone thought i hade my brights on. I will say this I they work for about 2 months and then the ballast when out on me. So I ordered another ballast and worked for about a week and the ballasted blew again, i spent about $200 in bulbs and ballast in a 6 month time frame i allways said no projector but i have to say i have hade them on for over 3 months now and have hade no problems with them. Just be prepared to pay some money on them i the long run i think hid are a waste of time and money just buy projector and save you money and time. Or buy the kit and waste your time it is a personal choice.

Ps here is a web site that you can buy them from good luck http://www.hidkit.com/Scion-TC-HID-Kits/

Alright thanks a lot guys. I'll simply invest money somewhere else on the car. Thanks.

It just seems I should wait to buy projecto, than invest in HIDs.

If you guys know which projectors and which HIDs to buy then, that'll be great help.

Thanks!

First, this is the wrong section. Your car is a 1G (1st generation). Second, this has been discussed way too many times. All the information you could possibly need has been posted eight times before.
