Default Home Depot lip...?

I have been seeing this on a few cars and understand it is weather stripping but when I went to home depot I didnt see anything that looks like it would look good on the bottom of a front bumper. Does anyone have any better pictures? I feel really ghetto for asking but just want to check out what this is.

u need to look for garage liner, home depot brand is Frost-King or something like that.

i'm sure u can check out a few build threads of people that done it. Errol (Rain) comes to mind...i think jtk2 (Footpatrol) has it to, i forgot. and a few others

^^ that is the DIY on it that is in this section, in the stickies.
There are several pictures in there. Not only does it look pretty dang good, but it has saved my bumper from a number of scrapes...

Just save your money dude and get a legit front lip. Not no chessy looking piece of rubber for your front. That ____ looks beyond ghetto, its tacky as hell

From the look of it. It sits nicely on the new tc. Beside the main point (beside looks) is to protect the front lip from being scratch up on speed bumps and stuff....

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I had several people tell me the same thing before I pulled the trigger on doing it myself, but I am glad I did. Almost all of those people have eaten their words since seeing it on my car too. I say "almost all" because one guy I know; the fact that it cost me less than $30, regardless of how good it looks; in his mind it is "ghetto."

I don’t think this looks good on all cars, but it flows well with the front of the tC2. Did I mention it has saved my front bumper from paint damage multiple times? Once I scrapped over a water flow rut in a parking lot, and the other time, (same parking lot) they use this overly tall metal pole instead of a concrete block. I lost one of the slide nuts that help hold the HD lip on, it broke in half. But I didn't get a single scratch on the paint underneath.

EDIT: I would like to add that when Racing Solutions quits playing with my emotions and FINALLY release this "legit front lip" : http://www.racingsolution.com/scion/...-2011-tc2.html
I will add a HD lip to it, if for nothing more than protection from scrapes.

I am thinking of adding this onto the bottom of my CF lip just to make it look a little lower....and to protect it a little bit.
