Hi all, does anyone here know if the emblem is just glued on to the trunk like the TC badge or is it pinned onto the trunk itself? Iv been trying to remove it for painting for a while but I am not meeting much success

 

heat it up and pull. There are 2 pins for alignment that go through the trunk

 

nice, thanks for that info. how did u take off that small piece on the trunk may i ask? Iv been investigating that with no clue where to start lol

 

I didn't, I just bought this part so I can bring it to a paint shop to have its indent filled and painted so I can have completely badgless rear end. Once that's done I will be asking the same q myself unless they'll put it on for me

 

^^^remove the hatches interior panel, there are a couple of screws that hold it in. Thats it.
