I was scrolling through Ebay and came across this:

Maybe that'll help you make a decision?

Well honestly I say do what you want. If you like it then f*ck the haters lol. It's not my thing and I wouldn't personally do it but my girlfriend likes it. So while guys might be hating you might be getting twice as much play. Think about it lol

I didn't know people still did this. I've only seen it on the Naviscalade-type SUVs, rolling on dubs and so forth.

The issue, IMO, isn't the appearance of the doors. I like the look. It's the perception of the kind of person who drives a car with Lambo doors. It's like driving a Hummer.
They look just fine, but who wants to be lumped in with the kind of people who drive them? So if he can deal with the fact that most people will automatically assume he's a tool, and he likes the look, he should really go for it.

I'd like to get something to reduce how wide the doors go, I'm just not sure lambo doors are the way to do it. It would no doubt cost a fortune, but I'd like to see a conversion to doors like the RX-8. Always thought that was a brilliant idea for a coupe.

Are these the doors you're talking about?

Those are suicide doors and standard doors not Lambos.

I'll actually be getting Lambo doors for my tC2 on July 11th. The shocks are going
to be hydraulic rather then the gas shocks that you generally get in normal kits.

For the hydraulic shocks or the Lambo doors in general?

I thought about this too.. I found a universal kit with no holes for about 200 bucks.. I think its easier to just drill ur own holes..

Don't just go get a cheap eBay kit or a cheap universal kit. If you're going to do Lambo doors, definitely don't be cheap about it. If you can't afford it at the moment, it'll be worth the wait when you save up for a decent kit that will last you a long time.
Buy a well known and reviewed kit or have them custom made by someone or a shop that knows what they're doing. That's what I'm doing right now. I have someone fabricating a custom kit with hydraulic shocks. He's done many custom kits for different cars.
