It might just look sick with the DRLs shinning in the background!? Check to see how that will look first.

Well, yeah but I dont think the little LEDs are going to make any light go through the painted plastic. I will try it out though, but it won't be till Sept-Nov till I am able too.

If they shined through then that would be awesome, but yea like you said there's no way they're going to shine through painted and cleared plastic. You could possibly mount the LED strip onto the back of the eyelid and dremel little holes for the LED's to shine through? That would look awesome but would take a little work

Yea not everyone likes vinyl (including this guy). I'm not personally a fan of vinyl eyelids and I know a large amount of people agree with me.

Druidiron this is strange, I'm not used to agreeing with you

mid May is 6 days away... can't wait, super anxious for these. I had my cf hood painted to match the color of my car in the meantime; this way I figure it'll match better when I get these on. Magnetic Gray FTW

Just spoke with Kevin yesterday, he said they would for sure be done by the 20th. Can't wait to get a set of these!

Not yet, that was the test vehicle. The first production eyelids are being installed on Sunday, and I believe shortly after they will be available through NIA's website.

you know I was really iffy on eyelids for our headlight shape at first, but the eyelids on that tc @beangarage look super mean. Paired up with the NIA splitter, the front looks awesome.

Met with Kevin on Sunday to get my NIA eyelids. The Cement TC still has the prototype eyelids. These are the first of the Final Product.

They turned out GREAT and I'm extremely impressed with them. He said that they would be available on his website within a week or two. These are the unofficial photos that I took. The official ones will be up within a week ish.

Pro's: GREAT Build Quality, Strong ABS Plastic, Super Easy Install, Both Clean and Mean Looking, Paint is Top Notch, Doesn't Block Light Output

I wouldn't be a good critic if I couldn't think of cons, so..

Con's: Not Everyone Likes the Look of Eyelids, More Paint to Wax, Added Weight?

Nice!!! It might just be me. Is the shape the same as the ones on the Cement tC? I can't tell if it's slanted like the ones on the cement tC or not? Possible if you can post dead on front shot (20-30ft) showing both headlights?
