I also have an RS 7.0 and really couldn't find a yellow high temp paint that matched well so I was not going to paint the calipers. But I never really considered red, and the more I think about it I think they'll look great! Please post pics when you get a chance.

Thanks!

Hey guys.. a friend and I painted our calipers yesterday. I have a super white tc..and he's got the yellow RS. G2 Caliper Paint Systems custom makes any color you want! Both of us have color matched calipers now. I'll post pics when I can.

Thanks Scooter! I'll check them out when I get home... So I assume you give them a paint code or something?
They really match good, they look great!

yeah give them the paint code for the car and they'll mix it up and ship it to you. The yellow and the white match perfectly...it's crazy

So how do you paint your calipers? Spray paint? Brush? Do you need to mask off the rotors?

depends on your method...

cheap caliper paint...
mask off everything but the caliper...spray and pray

G2...
it comes with instructions, that you MUST FOLLOW completely
but basically its brush and masking rotors are optional
...u will have to do everything at one time (within 6 hours? before the paint/solution dries and becomes useless), which means you need to jack up the entire care and remove all four wheels. USE JACK STANDS.

Yeah Nebraska is far enough away haha.
I checked out G2 site and it looks like good stuff, being epoxy and all. I noticed you guys painted your calipers and brackets, was 1 kit plenty?

Thanks for the tip!

Yep, 1 can is MORE than enough. I prolly could have done at least 2 more calipers on another car after mine was done. The can looks super small, but the paint covers well
