I ran across a couple pictures of the Toyota Zelas in Absolute Red. I also read that Chinese and UAE models have options such as leather, bluetooth, push start, smart key and paddle shifters. With all that said, I think we got ourselves a 2011 Scion tC R.S 7.0.



Here is a Zelas with what looks like a Lip Kit that could be used for our R.S 7.0.





It's been discussed plenty of times on SL but what options would make you buy a R.S? Any of the options above worth spending extra cash for?

 

speculation, no proof, and also no information has been released about the RS7. w/o back up info this should be locked.

The Zelas price range is higher than the tC. The fully equipped Zelas runs approximately for $25K U.S. It also comes in different trims. So if they were to do a R.S. with the Zelas feature it'll probably run more than the $18,995 they ask for here in the states.

It would be nice to buy a riced out tC straight outta the dealer but don't see it happening.

 

Also a different market with different options. Don't count your chickens before they hatch...

 

I just find it interesting that corporate asked my opinion about paddle shifters, blue tooth, smart key etc. A while ago and these happen to be options on the Toyota version.

 

HIGHLY DOUBT ABSOLUTE RED WILL BE ANOTHER TC RELEASE COLOR.
the xb2 did not repeat any color the original xb used as a RS. soo im sure the same goes for the tc2.

so does this zelas exist only in china and UAE, or does it exist in japan aswell? cuz if it did exist in japan, wouldn't that finally make the tc a real JDM car?

 

I never really understood this whole infatuation about being JDM. No matter how many JDM parts u buy the steering wheel will always be on the wrong side. (Not directed to MOS just everyone in general)

And for the OP not having any proof might as well just close all the FT-86 threads cuz there is no solid proof on any of that just rumors and speculations.

dude hes just saying that it could be the 7.0 not that it is. he doesn't need proof of anything .. really no need for a lock on this as far as i can see

 

actually there is proof out on the FT-86, and there is none out on the RS7 tC.

 

I got a tip from a reliable source that says it is going to be solar yellow which as you know is the same as the rs2 xb.

 

I heard the same about the Yellow, but still not 100% positive.

 

still think these are the ugliest cars ever; especially in that color makes it look worse and like most said i dont see a RS coming in red again

just because the Zelas comes in different colors than in the US, doesn't quite mean that one of them is going to be a RS color... possible... but there's nothing to back it up..

same thing with the different trims and the LIP kit. (it's not a body kit..)

 

Solar yellow would be the biggest mistake.

 

Sorry for the confusion. I wasn't saying that the next R.S would have any of the options listed above for sure (including color). I was mostly looking for feedback about whether these options would be desired or not for an R.S model.
