Default Projector + Halo Fog Light Kit

Anyone using this kit? If so post up a photo and results...

Projector fog lamp with HID kit installed might be really nice! Plus halo's! I'm definitely tempted!

This is because the wiring is not vehicle specific, they require some electrical knowledge to install. But it's not rocket science. If you can't figure it out then try and find someone with some knowledge of wiring. If that doesn't work, post detailed pictures on here and I'm sure I, as well as many other, would be willing to help.

That would be great, Ill be working on it with my Dad who has worked on muscle cars in his prime. He's a electrician but hasn't worked modern cars. Ill keep this updated when we start this Sunday. I did notice for the on off switch it will have to be modified to fit in the stock blank plugs as its to big on the sides to fit .

Right off the bat, I recommend getting a different switch. That one will not in the factory slot, and is too large to modify to fit in the factory false button

In his PRIME?! What!! I'm a Dad and will be in my prime till I'm 70!

Post some photo's when you finish the installation... Another possibility would be to get two factory switches, run the fogs off one and run the Halo's off the 2nd.

I wanted to add some pics of the wire config and the instructions that came with it as well as requested instructions from the ebay vendor Auto_genius.

Im sure we will be able to install everything with the instructions and common sense i just hope they look good.

TRDSparks.com, factory switches, I'm sure you can run two of them one for fogs and one for Halo's.

Factory switch basically works the same way. Also, I would tie the halo's into your parking lights using a relay.

Contacted trdsparks and they don't supply the switch separately without buying the full kit, so ill have to look somewhere else.

you can buy the factory fog light switch separately from your local Toyota/Scion dealership (parts department)

but its like $50 or something stupid....

Conclusion: Must return to seller

This fog light kit is horrible.

If you want pics i took a few just let me know, but if anyone knows of a better halo kit available that does work let me know because im still looking.

Why it cant be mounted to the 11-12 tc

1. The lights them selves have the mounting black plastic prongs that stick out for a bolt to be past through to the mounting on the car. These were spaced too closely together to fit in the toyota mounting slots for the fog lights.(without drastic sanding of the plastic) Even if they did fit the side that faces away from the car was twice as long as what it should be and has no way to bolting to anything. the hole is just over open space with no part to screw the bolt to.
2. The fog light switch doesn't fit in the ports in the dash(at all without major modification to the switch or the dash)
