Hey guys, just bought a brand new 2016 Scion tC a week or so ago, Magnetic Gray Metallic, 6-speed, and I love it. Anyways, I've noticed in pictures of the car on Google that some say "tC" on the front bumper and some don't, I'm sure that it's something that can be bought online but haven't been able to find it. Just pictures of one with the bumper saying "tC". Anyone know where to find it or even what it's called? Lol.

 

I looked for this when I bought my 2015 and as far as I can tell it only exists in Toyota's promotional pictures and on a few demo cars they handed out to autojournos to review.

 

yeah i think its just a promotional thing, i took off my front license plate to hopefully reveal the tC but it wasnt there haha.. i wonder if you can buy it?.. and relocate your front license plate.

 

That's what I thought too but I work at a Toyota/Scion dealer and a customer came in with a tC and his had it on the bumper. When I asked him where he got it, he said he bought it online somewhere but couldn't remember where he got it.

Maybe I'll try calling Toyota today if I get time and see what they say

the only ones i seen online is the scion logo ones. not the tC ones..arg! haha

 

We'll guys I finally found them! I work at a Toyota/Scion dealer and found them from one of my suppliers. If people on here want them I'll be listing them on eBay or people can send me money on PayPal and i'll ship them. They cost me $15 and i'll sell them for that. I included pictures of what it looks like. I'm so stoked I finally found them since I had been looking for it forever and it's even better that I can get it for other people as well!

I'll get better pictures once I actually have my hands on them. I just ordered some today so I should have them in like a week or so. Once I get them I'll put one on my car and post some photos. I'm thinking a lot of people might be looking for this since you see it in a lot of pictures on Google but none of them are actually owned by people like us.

 

Keep us updated as to when you get them on eBay. I also purchased a 2016 tC in Magnetic Gray about 2 weeks ago and would like to have those letters on the front.

Hey guys! I just got the tC front plate covers in! Here's some pictures. I only got 10 of them. I ordered more but got an email stating that they are now out of stock and discontinued so it looks like this will be the only 10 I can sell. They will then be gone forever and no longer available from Toyota since they are stopping production of the tC in August this year.
