Default Tinted Headlights

I recently tinted my head lights and I am very satisfied with the results i got. I used VHT night shade and clear coat. I did 3 full coats and then one faded coat. Started thick on the outside and began getting lighter as i went around. I took this picture imediatley after so it does not look as good in the picture as it does now. If you want more pictures let me know! I cleaned them and they no longer look foggy.

Why do you say that? I like the look of an all black car. It isnt tinted out terribly, just a hint of black to get rid of the ugly clear/chrome look. Thanks for your oppinon though!

To each their own but I think tinted headlights (and taillights, unless lightly smoked with a good non-yellowing film/spray) detract from a car, not to mention visibility.

I feel like tinting in general is a hit or miss topic. I love tinted tails and head lights. Lots of people hate it. Regardless tCs are head-turning cars.

VHT night shade is very easy to remove using paint thinner.

Just wear really dark sunglasses when driving at night, same effect/loss of visibility is achieved! The plus side is, you don't have to ugly up the car by tinting the headlights

I'm going to assume that it is not legal. But if you do a moderate tint like I did I'm sure the police won't notice anything differnt

Got mine vinyl wrapped a few weeks back just to see what it would look like all around. Lost maybe 10-15% of HID....mainly the blueish purple coloring on street signs etc.

I could never imagine intentionally making my headlights harder to see.

I DID however, disassemble my housings, and paint the housings black.

I had the exact same results. I actually prefer the light loss. I have 55w 8000k and they were constantly getting me flashed by other drivers. With this light reduction I have been flashed half the amount of times and can see just as fine.

you could always open up the casing and paint all of the chrome bits black, that way you don't lose visibility at night.
