Default Tow hook hole thread size?

Could anyone tell me or confirm with me the tow hook thread size?

I've searched around and haven't come up with anything on the actual size (came up with a lot of eBay junk tow hook stuff).
Me and a friend measured the tow hook that comes with the car and we assume it's a 19mm, but confirmation would be great, considering I'm not sure how to actually measure it.

Thanks for trolling me and being ignorant. I never said it was for a tow hook. I have my own project. And even if it was for a tow hook, i'd race it, considering the many tracks ive already been to and raced.

Now could anyone, please kindly tell me what the size is? Thanks.

If you go to Home Depot and bring the bolt, they have a chart in the hardware section where you can figure out the size

^what he said basically any home improvement store will have a size thing that you can take the stock tow hook into and thread it into it to find out what the size is

bump from the dead....

Did anyone figure this out? I'm trying to build a tow bar for my tC using the two stock tow hook receivers as the attachment points. I've brought the OEM tow hook to several bolt supply stores and none has it because it is metric.
