Default TRDSparks offers lower honeycomb grille

I was browsing trdsparks.com a minute ago and noticed that there were 2 links to "scion tc fog lights" and "fog lights".

the plain "fog lights" were about $100 more and it turns out that these fog lights come with the honeycomb grille some of you have been asking about!

idk if you guys have already discussed this but just wanted to post it up!

I called them before to verify what was the difference and i was told that they were the same thing except that the cheaper one was for southeast toyota and the more expensive one was for national sale.

If this does bring the honeycomb grille, I'll be giving them a call.

...i just had my foglights installed yesterday too

Did they say if the grill can be obtained separately or package only?

Designed to complement the fine lines of the tC, the fog light kit includes high-performance halogen bulbs with a DOT-approved beam pattern—and are both corrosion- and shock-resistant—along with a honeycomb lower grille.

Sorry this might be a noob questions, but other than the honey comb grill, is there a difference between the two sets of fog lights? Specifically would the cheaper one for south east Toyota fit on my Canadian tc?

Yes they do, I bought the "Scion tc fog lights" , ie. the cheaper one and had them installed at the dealer. They fit.

I still think the fig grill looks better imo. I like the honeycomb too, but I think the fig is a better value.

I just bought and installed the cheaper set of fogs from TRDSparks... Had I read into it more I woulda shelled out the extra $ to get the honeycomb grille.

I am not so sure this is the honeycomb grille you are picturing from the RS 7.0 tC. More than likely it is just a typo, because remember in the first gen tC the foglights go inside the lower grille and the kit therefore replaces the lower grille with a smaller one to fit.

It has to be a typo dude, this is a pick of the first gen foglight kit

yeah.. cause I 'd rather have the fogs in the center rather than corners.. I have ram air in a corner insert which is why. I like how there was both with TC1.
