2AR-FE/2AR-TFK

New to the forums, but I couldn't find a thread addressing it and or performance parts for it.
If someone can clarify the differences if any and potentially point me in the direction of MORE POWER!!!!

Thanks in advance,

JL

im still trying to figure out if there is a difference in the 2 motor codes 2AR-FE/2AR-TFK because I don’t want to buy anything and it not fit. the passenger side of my block says 2AR-TFK

AFIAK there's no such thing as a 2AR-TFK engine (There are FE, FXE and FSE). The 2AR-FE is the only one ever fitted to the tC2 stock. And unless you're talking about building from the ground up with new internals it doesn't really matter. The 2AR is the block code so the bolt-on mods won't care. Just grab the parts that say they fit the 2011-2016 tC and you'll be fine.

Just so you can sleep easier I went to go check on mine and it says 2AR-FSK on the sticker as well. But it's 100% a 2AR-FE engine. Not sure what the sticker means, but there are other stickers in my bay that say 2AR-FE. I am fully bolted and 0 issues.
