Ordered a CNT midpipe and Agency Power down pipe to fit in between my Weapon R header and TRD exhaust; I'm hoping it's not going to be obscene sounding, although I have a feeling it's gonna be. I just want the exhaust to be as free flowing as possible from the block to the exhaust tip. Anxious to find out. I'll get a video up ASAP. Just looking to see if anyone else has a similar setup and/or knows what I should expect.

 

Have a feeling it's gonna be real loud.

 

its going to be extremely loud! but i personally would want that, like sometimes i wish my tsudo was louder than it is now, but yes, its going to be extremely loud

 

most likely going to be loud, im looking for a cnt mid pipe for my rs8.0, i think that with my trd would be great, might ad a resonator tho to help with rasp

 

Well we are gonna find out soon enough! Haha. If it's loud, it's loud, but at least it's gonna be wide open from headers all the way back, and that's what I am looking to do. Free flowing! Braaaaap! Lol

 

Ok, So I installed the CNT midpipe and with the Weapon R Header, it was disgustingly loud! Like absurd. So, I removed the header (Which I really didn't like anyway) and replaced it with the stock exhaust manifold and it calmed it right now. Now it sounds great. Just got my AP Down pipe today, so Ill be throwing that asap.

 

From the head to the exhaust tip. No air coming out of the block, but we knew what you meant.

This is where I got the AP S-Pipe from. These guys have THE BEST customer service I have ever encountered in my 33 years on earth. Great fitment as well; bolted right up to stock cat and the new CNT midpipe. All in all, the exhaust parts I had installed sound, look and work great. Nice low exhaust note.

IF it's too loud, just throw a high flow resonator on the mid pipe. i'm sold on those bad boys, used them in all my cars to keep the decibels under control.

 

It was too loud. I replaced the Weapon R Header with the stock exhaust manifold and its much better now. Nice low tone with zero rasp.

 

well, the resonator i'm talking about also clears up rasp.. worked wonders for my tc1 with a dc sports header and header back exhaust. (nvidia s pipe and tsudo cat back) i cut the original res' off that came with the tsudo and replaced them with 2 high flow res' and got wonderful results. no lie, sounded like a subie..

if you're done with that header, how much would you be willing to let it go for?
