Is this necessary? will this improve performance? its like a voltage regulator or something? Just wanted to know more about this.

It just keep your electrical system stable. If you looking to gain a little power go for and air intake system or full exhaust system.

With stable electrical system better performance?

Extra dollar spending for nothing then? Haha. I thought it will help coz im planning to set up 2 10in subs. Anyway shortram cai and exhaust system is the best to increase power.
