Default Clutch question

For those who have a manual 6speed manual what are your thought on the clutch feel. To me it feel like it is way too soft and the clutch engagement point is really high. it's like right at the end of the pedal release.

WOW! I was just going to post the same thing.

I hate how soft and "mushy" the pedal feel is... I was going to suggest a stronger return spring and some bushings.. Maybe TMW could take a look at it... Along with their short shifter, I would jump all over it!!

It's a Toyota... All the Japanese cars I've driven have had a similar feel. I don't mind the feel, so I haven't looked into it, but on older cars I've had, adjust the engagement point isn't too hard. Just have to be careful not to adjust it so much you don't fully engage or disengage it.

is it just me, or is the clutch loud when pushed in an out? I can also hear it outside the car when shifting, is this normal?

Are you talking about the noise when it catches the gear?
If so, then mine is loud too.
Louder than any cars I drove before.
