Ok so i got a takata intake for my tc2 and by the way it sucks it doesnt seem to fit very well, i put it on the car then just took it back off it seems like some autozone crap luckily i didn pay anything for it so im not out of any money but i would like to know if anyone has the injen intake i think thats the one i want. let me know how it worked out for you thanks ill also have shots of my carbon fiber engine cover it will arrive today

 

I had a Takeda intake on my car back in November of 11 and it actually fit very well. Maybe it was an installation fault?

 

are you sure you have the correct one for the tc2 because they fit very well or as stated above it could be installer error

 

I currently have the injen CAI installed and love it. Installation wasn't too bad, the instructions calls for removal of the front bumper but you don't have to.

The only issue that I and others have is that upon start up, the initial suction of air from the engine causes the cone to hit the frame of the car. Some people use zip ties to help keep the cone steady others put pelt on the frame to prevent damage.
