Bad news. Header only added about 5 hp and about same amount of tq. DC isn't happy with that so they're taking it back for some tweaking. Nothing definite on a timeline but it is a real thing and I intend to be one of the first to test it out.

Yeah, that's too bad. I plan on ordering one as soon as they are available.

Yeah. I think they definitely need to go back to the drawing board on that. We make between 6-9WHP bolt on to a TC2 WITH a high flow cat. And our power gains are not just peak. We elevate the entire area under the curves making power throughout as you can see from the dyno.

Firstly, Jim's engine bay is oh so sexy with that Dezod Green. Second, there's a 200$ price difference between the DC and Dezod header. Hence why it sparked my interest. All that being said.. the girlfriend is still buying me a Dezod Green for the birthday in March.

DC hasn't even totally released a part let alone pricing. So I wouldn't hold that margin as a constant yet.

Secondly, American made parts (ours) with American grade stainless (ours) is undoubtedly going to be more $ than China made with China stainless (DC). Again, not knocking DC, but we have a severe leg up in many facets.

These are useless if you just slap them on to replace the stock ones.
It really makes me laugh when I hear my sisters b/f say " Once I put the Intake on my Honda Prelude thats automatically 15hp then with exhaust 30hp and forget it! once I get the headers thas another 25-30hp" I can't stand people who lack knowledge and refuse to listen to others with useful info.

Port and polish the head and valve work is required in my opinion. Unless you are working on building your engine then DO consider these.

Bench dyno racing is priceless I do agree there, however our header DOES in fact add power with nothing else being done to the car. We have proven it. It also makes throttle response more crisp. In my opinion, it feels the way it should have been from the factory.

Never fear Mr. Dezod. Ultimately I'll be going with your product. Can't beat an emissions legal header.
