Exclamation ECU trouble!

I most likely shorted my ECU while flash tuning.
I had turned it off by complete accident before the flash was complete. Now car wont turn over. I contacted vF tuner for a fix and they told me the first few steps of what I needed to do,
now I have the ECU removed and opened complete with resistors and solder ready to go on the circuit-board. Now my question is, Where do I need to solder this resistor to?

Posting here because I have been searching everywhere else all day, hopefully someone can help me out.

No, you did not "short" ECU. You bricked it.

here's manual

I'd agree with @DannoXYZ in that you now have a nice paperweight. It's also kind of frightening that you're coming on here asking people where you need to solder a resistor...shouldn't you be asking that question of whomever sent you the resistor or told you it was something you needed to do?

You're also going to need some wiring to connect to JTAG pins on ECU since they're not brought out to nice header on PCB. These newer generation ECUs aren't as user-friendly as earlier models with anti-tamper hardware and algorithms. If you don't have proper jumpers connects to boot into user mode 2 or 3, ECU will self-destruct and erase both boot ROM and user ROM. See sections 1.2 and 3.1 in manual above. Better yet, read whole thing to be sure you understand enough of what you're doing.

If you're using VF Tuner, try this: https://forum.vftuner.com/
