I've heard fairly little to no loss of power from Descendant, can anyone else confirm? And if so I'm guessing it is because it is 2.5". The only other Cat-back that size is the ARK. I wish more people had the ARK!!! But then again, it is pretty expensive, so I probably wont buy it anyhow... ha

Tsudo is also 2.5". That's why it baffles me that people are getting better results with Descendant.

This may be off thread but how does the sound compare with the TRD and Descendant? I want a little sound increase but nothing like a muffler with a screwdriver hole in it if you know what I mean.

i have a descendant and it makes the car loud without being obnoxious. there is a bit of rice at certain rpms but it doesnt sound like a civic. the trd idk how it sounds in person, but it is very similar. the trd is more of a deeper tone it seems and doesnt give off the ricer effect as much. for the price though its very similar, so as far as im concerned its all about how you want it to look. do you want a round tip or more of an oval lol. the descendant really looks good though, almost looks like it could have been a factory option

I had a Tsudo and it had a decent tone...but it WAS obnoxiously loud from the inside of the car. Vibrated the inside panels and droned like hell from 2-3k RPM (automatic). Got rid of it and went back to stock and immediately felt my bottom-end liven up.

If I were to go with a catback though, I'd definitely go Descendant. From everything I've heard, it definitely seems to have the most refined sound (and look). I agree with talt.

I now have a TRD though and must say it's gotta be one of the best options for daily driving sound. I am verrrryyyy pleased with it. Very refined, and no annoying drone or vibration. It keeps the sound outside the car. Don't get me wrong though, I would have never bought it brand new, as it seems outrageously overpriced. I lucked up and found a slightly used one for $300. Winning.
