GGP motor mount installed....
Here are some shots of the my new ggp motor mount. This was a very easy install and i would highly recomend it. The new mount helps alot with the low rpm bucking that the tc seems to have and also the drivetrain slop under heavier throttle. The vibration is minmal and I honestly was expecting the vibration to be annoying but thats not the case. This mount only takes about 15 to install and its very straight forward. Nur specs was on top of my order and had good customer service and you cant beat the price and quality of this mount.

What do the aftermarket engine mounts do for the car? you said it makes it feel smoother overall? or during a certain point in shifting low gears?
I would like to know what I gain by switching out my mounts. Also, what is the vibration you are talking about? is it comparable to the stock idling vibration, or worse or better?
Thanks, I just want to get a better idea on whether i should do the same mod on mine.

the motor mount just gives helps with some of the hesitation of the car and the low speed lurch that is if you have a 6 speed. it gives a little vibration on start up but im tellling you its worth the money, it also seems to help the car have a better throttle response

you tranny swapped a tC2?? explain!! I've been wanting to do this but I was under the impression it would cost a fortune...

he may mean that he got a different car with a 5 speed stick. possibly a 1st gen tC but maybe something else. just a guess. tearing out an auto trans and putting in a 6-speed in the tc2 will cost a fortune - likely much better to just trade for a manual or sell then buy a manual car.

Apologies, I swapped my auto xb2 with a 5 speed, lsd'd tranny. I needed all the hard parts, and the ecu. As well as a good amound of patience. I don't know who decided that behind the strut tower was a good place for the clutch resivoir..but I want to kick them in the face. Twice.

Thanks for the review, I got one last summer and found that the vibration was a little too much for me especially with the AC on. Could it be I over tighten when I installed it? How much did you guys torqued it when installing?
Currently I am running on the stock mount, I would appreciate if anyone who had a aftermarket mount to chim in!
Thanks!
