well...2 things

tC1 owners are cheap...which is why many companies (high end at least...not the cheap ones that make everything for those "honda tuners") have somewhat pulled out of the scion market...or at least not hitting it as strong

and then there is the FR-S...most of my sponsor have told me they want to do this and that for the tC2...BUT at the same time they are already telling me how they are working on the FR-S/BRZ

yes and no

the first gens and almost a dead market. and a new wave of scion enthusiasts will be coming in with the FR-S. the key with the FR-S is companies want their stuff out at the same time the FR-S is out...immediate sales because the FR-S is suppose to be aftermarket ready

now with that said, the FR-S release date was pushed up...which is why all the companies (at least the ones i talked to) are super busy getting all of their work done now

so once the FR-S frenzy is done, once the FR-S is released....the Scion interest will be up and companies can look into the other models (the tC2, the iQ, and MAYBE the xB2)

other than that...just small things if any for the tC2 in the meantime. dont worry...i'm still pushing hard with my sponsors on getting more stuff out. i will update with anything as soon as i know more

off the top of my head...
JP USA Co will be working on a lip kit early next year
CUSCO will be doing more suspension stuff early next year
GReddy is currently meeting with their r&d department on what they can possible work on

Lol you can't blame tC1 owners for not having stuff for the tC2. The 1G has been on the market for nearly 8 years now. The 2G only 1.5 years. And cheap? More like smart enough not to pay $200+ for a radiator panel or engine cover.

Talk about being skipped in line... Companies are rushing to build stuff for a 2013 car, but "Meh" for the 2011 car.

I just knew aftermarket would be all over tc2 since there was so much Scion Scene going on.. I mean wasn't there plenty of hype on the TC? Shows how much I know..

As for cheap.. don't know the root of this reference.. but I feel I have read way to much complaints about the wrong sounds.. which would be a reflection on build quality. I myself in personal experience have encountered 3 annoying sounds on tc1.. squeaky: Glovebox, rear plastics and suspension.
tc2: weird rattle squeak in upper rear passenger side plastic area, very annoying rattle that seams to come from the cowl area at speeds 55mph and up.. happens on an off, occasional pop/click in clutch pedal and finally a strange light pop sound/feel in the steering wheel when turning at times.
In all consideration.. I'm not easy on my cars.

As for the intake by PW... looks cool but why not do all the tubing like that?
Is there a performance gain for that bulbous shape?

Base 2005 Scion Tc $15,950 2011 Scion TC $18,995 3k difference
Maybe the base price has something to do with it all the tuners or shops I know never liked the TC1 I myself never liked Scion because of the TC1 but the TC2 is changing it for Scion just not as big as FR-S is going to
TC1 and TC2 two different cars TC2 is the brother who graduated Shops will eventually come back to Scions save your money and turbo 12 psi 300 whp
not a bad deal save your money maybe couple of months or year its worth it

Optimistic, but realistic. I hope you are right.

Sharing this link w/ the people who need to see this. Wonder if they'll come on and share some light into this rather than I've heard this and that.
