TRD will buy the rights from the first aftermarket company to make an LSD for the tC2, then price gouge for it.

They don't buy rights, a lot of the companies that manufacturer for the aftermarket also build for the OE's. TRD will have different specifications then that of aftermarket due to OE build standards. Although pieces may look the same (take the BBK for example) they are specific to TRD and the applications in which they are built. That and testing make up the majority of price difference to what you find in your local off-the-shelf aftermarket performance store.

No LSD planned for the tC2 at this time. Things may change, but unlikely due to the sales on the 1st gen ($1300 or so MSRP plus install, which wasn't too bad... depending on who installs it).

u guys should bug the guys over at wavetrac and hope they bite. ast time I talked to them they were looking for platforms to work on and they have added several since then. Great design.
