Megan Racing Axle Back Exhaust Installed
4 Attachment(s)
I ordered a Megan Racing Axle Back exhaust for my 2011 tC.
Install was extremely easy • Didn't even need to jack the car up • Two bolts holding the stock exhaust to the mid pipe • WD40 to the bushings allowed them to slip off the hangers with ease • Megan exhaust fit in perfectly (used the included hanger & one of the originals) • Total install time ~10 minutes Exhaust looks really good (great product). Sound was mildly more aggressive than the stock exhaust. Removed the silencer and minimal increase in sound. That said, there is a noticeable increase in throttle response and when at full chat, you can hear a little snarl from the exhaust. Overall, pretty good investment. I'm now wondering if I should replace the stock catalytic with a sport CAT which would definitely increase the exhaust note. Anyone have experience and recommend a sport CAT? And yes, I live in California. |
Sound Clip??

Our cat is part of the exhaust manifold. The only 49 state legal header with high flow cat is the Dezod green header. Guess which state it is not legal in?! You could get away with it if they never look under the hood.

on the fence
Don't know what that means? Does that mean that it's low quality? I was considering buying the exhaust but not if it sucks!
