need help please 2014 exhaust
Does anyone know if a 2011-13 cat back exhaust will fit ona new 2014 model? I recently bought my wife a 2014 10 series and she had a 2012 model before. I know the body is a little different this year but the models still have a lot of similarities too. We took her eibach Springs off the 12 and put them on the 14 along with the aem cai and TRD strut. But back to my question I was wanting to buy the tsudo cat back exhaust with the burnt tip but since it is for a 2011-13 I didn't know if it would bolt up right. I called Toyota and the 2011 TRD exhaust will work for the14 but it's just the muffler. The actual exhaust has the same part number but the mid pipe hasa different part number between the 11 and 14. The section after that is the same part number but the manifold is different if that makes sense. But if you compare the exhaust by eye it looks the same between the two models. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
I put on my Tsudo catback exhaust today and it does bolt up. One section of it does hang down really low. I don't know if that happens with all the Tsudo exhaust or what but it literally can't be more than an inch off the ground. The tC is lowered on Eibach Springs so I know that adds to it a little also. Looks good tho, got the burnt tip to flow with the paint and glowing 10 series emblems. But bottom line is, yes 2011-13 tC exhaust will fit on a 2014 model.
It's only an inch from the ground? Either you are exaggerating or there is an issue. I am on Eibach Sportline springs as well and mine didn't hang nearly that low. Its lowest point was right where it goes under the rear axles, but definitely several inches from the ground.

Yeah, it is man. That's why I got rid of it. It has a good deep sound to it and it's not raspy...but the way it resonates in the cabin really got old. Especially early in the morning heading to work.
That's the truth. It's the first exhaust I've had its definitely louder in the cabin then outside the car (especially between gears and bogging down). I put that more on the scion then the system. The invidia I had on my wrx was close to if not louder than this but it wasn't that bad in the cabin. But you can learn to keep it to a minimum. The wife says she likes it so that's what matters. (We'll see what she says in a few months tho lol...
Oh by the way. I got it lifted where it wasn't as closed to the ground. They missed a hanger.
