Default Need your advice

Hey everyone,

I have a 2012 rs and I am looking for an exhaust. I was wondering from the collective experience of all the users here, would you recommend going with a brand name like tsudo or descendant....Or...would you recommend just going to a muffler shop and getting a custom made?

Second Question:

Are there any halo projector headlights (angel eyes) available for the 2011-12 models yet??

Ive done plenty of searching and ended up with nothing. \

Any input is appreciated.

Take care

Descendant. Its oem looking, deep and doesn't look like a fart can. I don't quite understand the reasoning behind putting a 3" can on 2.5" piping.

Scion202 was developing some. Ask him.

^^i agree, out of the 2 systems mentioned.

usually the muffler shop will just use mild steel piping, at least the aftermarket ones are stainless steel. also, the engineering behind product fitment is already there. my $0.02.

Descendant or ARK, maybe Agency. They both have similar builds but one is $600 while the other is $1000. People usually go with Tsudo or Megan because of their low price.

I've only mentioned catback systems. But if you're interested in axel-back systems, theres Borla, TRD, HKS, and a few others. All known brands. I suggest you youtube the exhausts to get an idea of the sound you want.

To answer the original question,

-I would go with a brand name as opposed to an exhaust by a muffler shop. UNLESS you plan to drop a ton of money on an exhaust. Then by all means go to a muffler shop and they can make you EXACTLY what you want and what nobody else has. The problem with muffler shops is that for the same price as a Stainless Steel Tsudo or Injen or specifically engineered brand name Stainless exhaust.. they will put a straight pipe (No cat or resonator) with just a cookie cutter muffler on it and alright looking tip. The result will be either too rich or too quiet. If you plan to spend a lot, then they can put a performance cat and resonator on there, along with a great muffler and engineered bends.

-To the halo headlights question... no

I think Tsudo is the way to go. It's definitely cheaper, and that's what I was looking for. I can't tell a huge different in the sounds, but that's just me.

Tsudo sounds great with Dezod's green headers. Sounds great without any rasps. As for Halos there are halos, but you have to install yourself and its a bit difficult

The halo's are not difficult to install at all. There's even a step by step video that shows you every single thing you should do to install them.
