We are looking for someone to test our new short throw shifter for the vehicle application listed below. If you have a vehicle that fits our application guidelines please post up and supply me with your email address or send a private message. The shifter is yours after the install, we only ask that you supply us with a full, comprehensive review of the product, fitment, and results.

I finally got it installed today. The installation was done by PTUNING located in Manassas. They did a very nice job and was done in 45 minutes to an hour. I also have the supertek short shifter and the shift throw feels amazing!!!!! It almost feels like the one from the FR-S for those that have driven a manual.

My main complaint is the revers pull up lock. Feels like it doesn't have enough room to pull up, and when I do, it slip a bit. Lastly, the shift boot ring doesn't really hold up the boot itself, it's half way up so it doesn't fall, but it does stay locked in place. I recommend this to anyone that wants to try the short shifter assembly.

I did try to install this myself. I recommend having a buddy to remove the plastic cap that holds the revers pull up lock. You will also need to use a cutting tool to remove the 10mm push pin holding the shifter assembly in place. Other than that, the entire install is quick and easy. I"ll try to get some pictures up asap.

Hey guys! Thanks for the interest! Even bigger thanks to Zero90 for the install and review! We will be addressing the issues presented by the test install before starting final production. Anyone interested in starting up a group buy please post up! I'm going to set pricing at $189 with free shipping for the forum members! The initial production will be wrapped up in 2-3 weeks, so I can take a list of preorders to make sure we have adequate supply when the release date arrives!

 

I'm interested once the bugs are worked out. How much shorter in height is the shifter than stock ?

 

I don't know the exact height, but it's a bit shorter, about an inch, maybe.

Hey Ralco, the bushings replace both the OEM bushings correct? I actually just got to installing those today and the reverse bushing seems very loose, not sure if that is normal or not.
