Default TB Heater Bypass.

So has anyone done a Throttle Body Heater hose bypass? And if so, did you notice any issues in winter months or get a CEL?

In theory it should be fine to bypass the throttle body and loop the lines, but figured I'd ask before doing so. You never know with the Toyota ECU how it'll respond.

I've bypassed the tb on lots of my cars with no issues. Try it and let us know?

May have too.

In theory it should work fine, improve warm weather throttle response is really the only benefit to doing it. So I'm not in a rush to loop the lines as winter is just around the corner. But I was looking under the engine bay today to try and see what I can do for free hp/tq/throttle response and noticed the lines on the TB. Oh and I also dropped in a K&N air filter, which has seemed to improve just a tad of how the car accelerates. Not a massive difference, but seems like it is not having to work as hard to accelerate.
