TRD CAI Warrenty?
Is the cold air intake emission legal? In the TRD catolog it has it as an Off-Highway part and it also says that it isn't covered by a warenty either.

Thoughts and opinions?
Isn't the whole point of the TRD parts to still have the warrenty?

I don't know if I'd trust that catalog anymore. It is CARB compliant...

(sorry, shaky hands!)
Catalogs are printed long before products are launched. With that, the intentions of products can change as well.
Warranty and what not, we are following up with TRD to find out.
Just so this doesn't get lots, I've posted this in my build thread as well.

To hydrolock your engine with this intake, you'd have to submerge the front of the car up to the headlights in water. At that point, the intake would be the least of my concerns.
draxcaliber: Seeing the pics of the CAI the filter is set behind the headlight in the engine bay, not in the fenderwell like the tC1. You'd have to take a drive into a lake before chancing hydrolock.
