I have a few questions for you Unichip.
1. Do you have maps for Injen Short Ram Intake with AxleB (Flowmaster Force II)? 2. Will this Unichip increase my MPG? 3. Can you provide a backdoor link to your Flux2 with member's price? When I add Flux2 to the cart along with the unichip by following the link you gave us, I get 581$ instead of 524$. Maybe I missed something. 4. Do you offer free shipping to Canada members? Let me know, I'm interested! |

Lots of calls over the last couple of days about differences between the Flux2 Display version and the basic kit …
The only “hardware” difference is the Flux2 Display and harness…the Unichip and the PnP harness in both are identical. The only “functional” differences – besides not having the display to look at – are how you switch maps and how many maps you can access. In both kits, the Unichip computer can have 5 maps loaded into it, but the basic kit has a mechanical switch to change between the Main Map Set and Map Set 2. With the Flux2 Display, you can just push a button and get to any of the 5 maps. During the special, you also get the MapsQ download cable (to load data into the Unichip) and the Flux2 download cable (to enter display data into the Flux2) at no charge when you buy the Flux2 version but not with the basic kit. Cheers |

Thoughts? Review? Instillation write up? Pics? haha Cant wait for it to get here! |
For everybody that has the MapsQ software and a download cable, all of the maps have been uploaded to the online map library.
There are maps for the stock air box, drop in filters, and intakes from Injen, K&N, Takeda, TRD, and Weapon R for all fuel grades and stepped timing and fueling changes... as well as each intake with headers and exhaust modifications. Enjoy! |
Just got mines delivered. Will install tonight and go for a drive.

Yes, it includes 93 octane… start with the 92 Fuel ~, Timing ~ map and see how it feels. Regional variances make an exact an“octane” number a bit inexact.
If everything is good and the car pulls strong, try the Fuel ~, Timing + map which runs additional ignition timing and see if the car likes that. If that’s working well, try the Fuel -, Timing + map which is the most aggressive standard map in the folders. If at any point, you get a flashing CEL (which always means misfire) you’ve found the limit for your car on that gas and you should back up one map. Likewise, if you don’t feel/measure any difference between two maps, run the more conservative one… that is the one with more fuel and less timing. E85… lots of calls out and voice messages, but not a lot of calls back still… we’ll keep you informed if we get any news one way of the other. Cheers |

Cheers So the MAP I got that came with my Unichip for Injen intake, is that optimized for 93 octane or just 87? If so I guess I'll need to buy the data cable to DL 93 octane MAP cuz that is what I put in my car before installing the unichip. So far so good though. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2 |
