DESCENDANT tC2 Turbo Kit
Wrong.
tC1 is 270whp (wheel) not crank
tC2 is 330whp (wheel) not crank
You are mixing crank hp and wheel hp numbers up.
Stock tC1 dyno around 140whp (crank hp is 160)
Turbo kit pumping down 270whp is 270whp - 140whp = 130whp gain.
Stock tC2 dyno around say 180whp (crank is rated at 180hp, but so far they have been dynoing around that amount so the crank is more like 200hp).
Turbo kit on stock tC2 putting down 330whp is 330whp - 180whp = 150whp gain.
In the case of Descendant they dynoed the tC2 at 192whp and added their turbo and made 330whp so 330whp - 192whp = 138whp gain.
The only Forced induction application for a tC that only shows 60whp gain is the weak and no longer in production TRD Supercharger. All the turbo setups out there you can expect 100+whp gains.
your right but i was saying if the 2AZ-FE turbo was putting out 270whp and the 2AR-FE turbo was puting out 330whp at the same boost then there there is a 60whp jump from the 2AZ-FE turbo at 8.5psi to the 2AR-FE turbo at 8.5 psi.

2AZFE
300whp & 298tq ... 100% factory 2011 Scion xB ONLY modification DESCENDANT Bolt-on & Go Turbo Kit @ 10psi (OEM exhaust & clutch)

2ARFE
333whp & 302tq ... 100% factory 2011 Scion tC2 ONLY modification DESCENDANT Bolt-on & Go Turbo Kit @ 10psi (OEM exhaust & clutch)

Basically this set up:
2AZFE
vs2ARFE
ahh ok so only 33 hp gain with the 2ar-fe at 10psi ok. so hey rob is the 2ar-fe and the 2az-fe pretty close to being the same size? dose the header have the same bolt patern and in the same spot? i want to drop in a 2ar-fe motor into my xb and just seeing how much fab work i would have to do.

The complete swap probably isn't worth it because of how much fabrication would be needed to get the motor installed & working properly. No all new engine platform, nothing is the same.

IMO...you'd be better of doing the 6 speed swap once we have it completely engineered. Attached is a picture of the new tC2 6speed gearbox attached to the tC1 & xB2 2AZFE engine.
