I have a tc and I am wanting to change the radio in it and I was wondering if the buttons on the steering wheel work with a different stereo and the Bluetooth mic on the roof work and is it a double din out looks like it but not sure.thanks

You have to buy a separate piece to make the steering wheel controls work again. As far as the Bluetooth won't work since it's part of the radio. But the mic, I don't think you can reuse it. You can probably reuse the location though. Oh yeah I used to proffessionaly install car audio/video/and security.

Steering wheel control adapter. You can use Crutchfield and input make model etc. and it will tell you what you need. I know companies such as PAC or Peripheral Electronics make them.

It's all your preference. It depends what brands you like. What features you want it to have. And if you're going to build and entire system or just change the stereo. It all depends on what you're trying to do with it.

What's up KidJustin!!! Yeah I actually went to school for mobile install during all the hype of Pimp MY Ride but little did I know it was a dying industry. I used to love Alpine since the 90's but let's be honest. Alpine hasn't been Alpine since 2005. I agree with the Pioneer selection but Kenwood, Eclipse, and Clarion are all good as well. Pioneer actually used to classes about their products to all retailers to try and boost excitement in the industry. That's one of the reasons why I like them.

Oh yeah, Reconpj. If you know what you're trying to achieve just let me know so that I may point you in the right direction and inform you of what to look for. Remember I worked install not sales. So I'm not gonna steer you wrong.
