Default Anyone with a Subaru WRX friend?

I was just told this afternoon that the shift **** from a WRX will fit on our tC2? Due to the reverse lever cut out... I was told.

I have yet to grab one, called most of my buddies out here, and only one guy has the car but I need to steal his shift ****. SO, wanted to see if anyone else out there has one or might be able to try this...

IF so, it lends to some interesting shopping options...

You need an STI to check this. All WRX's are 5 speeds so no reverse lock out on them. My buddy had an STI though so I'll find out for you

Just a small update, the STI 6MT ***** have the same thread pitch and diameter but the RL on our tC won't work with them.

SO for a shift ****, guess there's no love from Subaru-land.

You are correct on this one, the Scion reverse lockout lever is much wider than the Subaru is. If you are looking for an aftermarket option, check out or M1 Abrams RL shift ****, it'll fit the stock 2011 tC shifter:

Thank you for the info, as much as I like your shift *****, I'm really searching only for a Delrin ****, which you have on that new Hybrid ****. Sadly it's just a tad out of my price range right now. I will keep an eye on it though.
