Hey guys -

Has anyone noticed a creaking or clicking sound coming from the glass roof when you are driving? It seems to happen at any speed. I have a 2011 model. It sounds like it is coming from the center glass roof panel. I have opened the hatch and also the sunroof and driven the car around a parking lot like that. The noise is still there. Any suggestions?

 

do you have your stereo on when hearing this? I've noticed that the little bug deflector lip rattles against the sun roof window pane itself and that causes some of the rattle. Its only become more prominent since i've upgraded the stereo. I was thinking of putting in a few pieces of the double sided tape some of the foam tape to absorb some of the vibration but fear it would just look tacky or be rubbed off each time I open or close the sunroof.

 

mine only does it in like 25-32* and down, its when everythings frozen and its fit tight, causing creeks over large changes in terrain, aka a hill causing car to flex.
