Default Custom sub box

I'm looking into finally putting a system into my car. I'm really interested in putting a custom sub box that fits flush into the side of the trunk area. i got a quote from my local sound shop...anywhere from 300-500 just for a custom built box. I already have a 12in sub so im just looking for a box. Does anyone know any good places that sell sub boxes?

OEM Audio + has a system that includes a Sub Box, Also JL Sells a sub with box inside of it. Both of these fit into the cubby in the hatch

Why not just make one with fiberglass? I've helped my cousin made one in his tc2. Its not that hard, just time consuming and smelly.

Total materials: $65
Booze: $74
Things we broke while influenced: $150+

Of course you can skip out on the last 2 items. ;D

i did mine fiberglass but materials were alot more then $65 i spent around $175-200 on fiberglass, resin, fleece, mdf, dowels, brushes, gloves, bondo, glazing putty (icing), primer

finish on it is hydrodipped cf design didnt feel like messing with carbon again like before with my armrest and door handles
( had other trim printed to match the box )

in my opinion $300-500 is a fair price you have to figure out materials plus labor

Very nicely done! Really like the carbon fiber look/finish. Top notch.
