Steps:

Approx time Expert: 5 mins / Noob: 10mins
1. the deadpedal should come with screws, you want to get a drill might not actually even need one
2. place the dead pedal where you want it, and carefully drill into the carpet.
careful not to go in too deep, there are sound deadening materials underneath

3. done

No plastic dead pedal block on the 2011? That's sad. I'm sure my carpet would have worn pretty badly by now without the plastic dead pedal.

Looks good. I'm going to attempt a wider, thicker one that bends over the side... will keep you posted!

My first mod was RDX antenna but now the carpet is showing wear...

Finished the dead pedal fab and install this weekend. I used the front cover plate off of an old Dell server and cut out a section to fit.

Cool, OK or Ghetto?

Thanks for the feedback. I live near Toronto, Canada and we're going through a spring thaw/rainy spell. My driveway is swamp right now!

For who'd like measurments it is 7" tall and 5" wide (bottom).

I made some revisions to the dead pedal and this is the finished product:

I really like the fact that it wraps around the corner approaching the clutch to protect the edge of the carpet.

I also added some TRD badging to the dash (beside Bluetooth), the console just below the shifter and on the steering wheel below the horn as seen in the last photo!

I'm really not sure if I'm going to find pedals that completely match... I'm even thinking about painting/coating that dead pedal black so it shows up less.

Been just over a year since installation. No problems so far. Since the pedal is mostly for resting your foot on its not much of a problem unless you are trying to pry it apart.
