A good friend of mine owns a carbon fiber (Real carbon fiber) business (G3 Composites LLC). He & I have been friends for over 10 years (In real life).

We're both enthusiasts as well, of course. All supplies are sourced from the USA & all work is done in the USA (He is based in FL)

I am posting to gauge interest on what folks may want.

I'd be happy to become a vendor if there was enough interest.

I just sent him several pieces from my Corvette that I should have soon. Can't wait to get them back.

There is another thread similar to this but haven't heard any updates on it. If this is to go through I would like to see the rear garnish for the hatch.

 

An affordable CF cooling plate would be nice. Descendant makes one but it's price is OUTRAGEOUS

looks like you are pretty good at skinning in carbon fiber. do you also make pieces out of pure carbon? i didn't see any mold pieces or vacuum bagging in the pictures.

Yes, he also creates molds. For a mold he generally requires at least 5 committed buyers.

 

Yes, he can do colored.

Piece of advice, the first one to manufacture a Carbon Fiber hatch garnish with the emblem deleted will make $$$$

 

If you just want looks, wrapped is the way to go. It will save you time & money. Molds are generally for weight savings.

 

True. I have contacted Carbon Creations & Seibon about purchasing just the garnish and both have refused to sell it. Told me to buy the entire trunk :?
