Default needles in cluster

Do all tc needles on the cluster go up and then back down when you put the key on the on position? I seen some tc do that but mine doesn't..

Turns out there is a way to turn this behavior on and off. Somehow I managed to turn it off. They stopped doing that right have I started the engine, turned it back off, and back on in short succession. Don't go wearing out your starters, kid. It might have been something else I was doing during that time, like twiddle with the power windows.

Switch the middle display to total odometer. Turn car off. Hold down the button that switches between mpg/temp/trip a etc. Turn car on. Now you can toggle between S mode on or off. And the needle behavior gets changed there too. Experiment some.
