When putting my car in reverse and the reverse cam displays, the sound cuts off and does not come back until I restart the unit (turn the car off and back on). Pressing the mute/volume buttons or changing sources on the head unit has no effect BUT if I use android auto and play an audio source from there(Spotify, Pandora, iHeartradio, etc), the sound returns.


Could this be the effect of a bad unit or an installation issue?


Also, for some reason, it takes about 2 minutes for the head unit to begin to power on unless leave the key turned to the ACC position for a few seconds. Not a big deal but if you have a fix for that as well, I would appreciate it.
