Default OEM Seat fabric quality?

Has anyone noticed any wearing/fading in their front seats? I was just getting into my car a few minutes ago and it looked like one side was sunbleached:

That looks like deoderant to me... did you try hitting the seat in that area to see if it would come out/using a wet towel on it?

No change with a wet towel, and it seems this is on the passenger side seat as well, same area. ...and other than my wife rarely riding in the tC (we usually drive the xB on the weekends), I'm the only one in the car. So I kinda doubt it would be deodorant...plus I usually wear aerosol applied, and an undershirt with a polo or dickies top to work

You should expect some fading over the life of the vehicle but try ScotchGuard and all that stuff. If it really bothers you, pick up some Clazzios!

Understandable, but I've owned this tC for almost one month.

i have it too just on driverside, mine just seems to be from the dry skin off the elbow and when i turn to get out i tend to put my elbow in that spot to push myself around. Mine i just take a cloth after im done washing the car and kinda wipe/squeeze the seat and it comes out.
