Default Paddle shifters..

I have a 2012 Scion tC I upgraded to the optional paddle shifters from a 2015 Scion tC. It was plug and play aside from a different wiring on the radio buttons.
But it all plugged in. They seem to not work. Is there something else that it's missing that's preventing from the paddle shifters from working?

Did you ever get this to work? I have the 2014 Scion tC and was thinking of giving this a go.

I didn't get it to work. Still need info maybe a software update from the ECU and or automatic transmission ECU.

Need some one with more knowledge to help with this issue.
