Default Sound activated LED

Hey guys,

Have the next 2 weeks off work so trying to keep my hands dirty. Anyone know how to install sound activated leds in their speakers??

For example, this is what i want

He use a sound reactive controller for the leds so i looked them up and got the following.

http://barlighting.com/ledaudiostripkitremote.html

http://www.alibaba.com/showroom/soun...ontroller.html

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Personally, I wouldn't go with a sound activated led strip. It isn't exactly perfect timing and is not a good effect. Instead I would just go cheaper, you can get a cheap $5 led strip and put it on your speakers and hook the power up to the + and - speakers wires. That way every time you speakers hit, the lights will turn on. They will also vary based on how hard the speakers hits (i.e. how loud as well). So the louder it is the brighter the light. I had some extra led strips laying around and I hooked them up to my amp doing this same technique and put them inside my sub box and it worked wonderfully plus its a lot cheaper.

I have mine done in my speaker box. Just wired them to the speaker wire.
That's my page where you can find it.

Yeah I would get a video for you but I'm at school now so my car is 11 hours away.. which sucks. But if you just wire it up to the speaker wire it will work perfectly. You're idea is pretty awesome, hopefully that turns out sick and I might consider doing that to mine haha
